When A is G

The video installation When A Is G explores cellular processes. In the film we see four women representing the four nucleobases that our DNA consist of: Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, and Cytosine. The film cuts between still images or portraits of the four characters as if scanning through a DNA sequence. The characters communicate through movements and gestures, and one could imagine how choreography and coincidences could lead to a mutation in the image sequence and also an imagined DNA sequence.
